“The “New Swedish Pewter” collection was created prior to Svenskt Tenn’s 80-year anniversary in 2004. It was developed by 10 female Swedish designers to honour Svenskt Tenn’s founder Estrid Ericsson. I started grouping traditional forms of candle rings together and got shapes similar to clouds or melted wax. When you use it and the candle burns down, the shadow of the rings will gradually grow and create a subtle decoration on the table.”
