I wanted to create an umbrella stand with a sculptural look and decided to use the beautiful image of raindrops falling into puddles when creating the grid. It is a reminder of what is going on out there on rainy days.

I was adding handles to very basic shapes ó the magazine rack looks like a bag left behind on the floor by someone, the waste bin like a paper bag and the shoe rack somehow looks like an old-fashioned suitcase. The coat hanger has soft curves, suggesting that it will look after your clothes in a good way.
