“The lamp-shades with pressed flowers have been produced by Malmstensbutiken for almost 70 years, designed by Birgitta Malmsten. I have developed eight new models and Vanja Sorbon, great grand-child of Carl Malmsten makes them. From April to July she picks and dries the flowers, then weld the shades and finally puts on the four layers of pergamyn. Every shade is unique and the result of a true craftman-ship."
